We need people to help distribute food, pick up and organize donations, register and check-in clients, warehouse workers and more! If you are interested in volunteering, please select from the two options below. Once you fill out an online form and submit it a Meridian Food Bank representative will contact you regarding your application.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are currently in need of the following volunteer positions
Route Pick Up Drivers (1 position available)
The driver position is a crucial role in the on-going success of the Meridian Food Bank. This position leads the daily efforts to collect donations from various grocery stores, libraries, fire stations and restaurants. Pickups are made daily with the exception of Sundays and Christmas. Drivers will be assigned a scheduled day that meets their availability. They may also be asked to fill in as a driver or helper if another individual needs relief. There may also be times when the driver may be asked to fill in or lead special events. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.

This position supports the daily efforts to collect donations from various grocery stores, libraries, fire stations and restaurants. Pickups are made daily with the exception of Sundays and Christmas. Helpers will be assigned a scheduled day that meets their availability. They may also be asked to fill in if another individual needs relief. There may also be times when the helper may be asked to participate in special events. Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
